What are you currently working on?

A collection of hand embroidered pieces

Who is your ideal client?

Someone who has a love of art, and an appreciation for the slow and personal pace of hand-created works. Someone who values quality and uniqueness over quantity.

What is your big picture vision for your business?

I would love to continue creating original paintings and textile works while managing a number of collaborations or licensing clients. One dream I have is to create a collection of surface patterns for Crate & Kids.

What is a common misconception about your work?

That it doesn't take much time to produce art.

What podcast should everyone listen to?

Ah! I don't have any go-to's but I just started listening to 'Sounds Like A Cult' and I think it's going to be good.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Listening to The Office while I work (hence my lack of podcast suggestions).

Why femme x Columbia?

Because they're not afraid to think differently.

How do you describe femme X to others?

It's a co-working/office space that focuses on and provides resources for female-owned businesses. And for people who don't need a space but want to be involved, there is a social membership that offers events and opportunities to that!

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

What is your favorite femme X ammenity?

I love the new grab and go!

What is your best piece of business advice?

Put yourself out there before you feel ready.

What does your ideal Saturday look like?

Sleep in, coffee in bed while my husband keeps the kids at bay, brunch at gourmet shop and a stroll around five points or down soda city market. Home for a little rest time and then having some friends over to grill out and have some cocktails.

Do you have any passion projects outside of your job?

Curating the art shows at Femme x COLUMBIA.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

At this very moment, I'm super into Pernille Rosenkilde.
