Health Insurance 101

Katharine (Kate) Reynolds has been with Anthem Insurance Companies, Inc. as an associate director since 2020, after coming from Optum Health where she worked as a Business Process Manager for state government systems. She is a certified Open Enrollment Ambassador for Anthem, Inc. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of South Carolina, and her Lean Six Sigma certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Her prior projects and experience include the implementation and quality management of the Dual Eligible Demonstration for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (Healthy Connections Medicaid). When she is not working and volunteering, Kate can be found with her menagerie of animals or deep in a book. She lives in Columbia, SC with her husband of 10 years and her daughter, Madeline.
